To post bail for a detainee held at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center:

Keep in Mind

Bail for detainees held in other counties must be posted at the Adult Detention Center's reception desk.

During holidays follow the non-business hours service directions for the ADC.

You will need to bring: 

Exact amount of bail. (cash or bond)

The court accepts cash, money order, or credit card.

Personal checks are NOT accepted.

Talk to the attendant 

Tell the attendant you want to post bail for a detainee in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.

Do you need a bond? 

Olmsted County also accepts bonds from bail bondsman approved by the 3rd Judicial District of Minnesota. To reach a bondsman, please click the link to the right. Make arrangements with them prior to arriving at the Clerk of Courts office.

Bring receipt to ADC 

After you have paid the bail, bring the receipt to the Adult Detention Center. The receipt is required to get a detainee released.
