Adoption Services

Olmsted County Social Services provides adoption services to children in the Minnesota Waiting Children’s Program and the families who seek to adopt them.
Before you are eligible to adopt, you will need to go through the same licensing process as one does to become a foster parent.
After your home study is completed and you are licensed for foster care, we will register you on the Minnesota Adoption Exchange and work with them to match you to waiting children.
